The start of weaving for my jacket
Its taken 3 days to setup my loom but finally I've started weaving the 5 metre length of tweed required for the tailor to fashion my jacket to go with the waistcoat he's making for me.
This loom has been designed to fold up for relatively easy transport, however the down side is that the rollers are quite close to the table and back boards and so this limits the length able to be woven.
As this will be the longest length I've woven so far it should give me a better idea as to the length I will be able to weave on St Kilda.
All part of my learning experience. 😀
